  • **Latest Mega Pixel Security Technology Comparison CVI, TVI, AHD and IP

    Different security camera technology may confuse you, but we are here to help. High Definition Surveillance are categorized in Mega Pixels. Standard D1(VGA) is currently the industry standard for almost all the Analog systems. BEWARE IF YOU SEE ON THE CAMERA SPEC (TVL, 960H OR TV LINES), you are looking at a none mega pixel resolution which is now an industry low and will not deliver as clear of an image as Mega pixel would.  The sample image that we have below shows you the difference between the resolutions for you get a better feel of what each technology provides.     a. We recommend that you monitor your recording as well as the live viewing. There are plenty of lerkers that monitor your moves, to strike when opportunity opens up.

  • Full Digital Camera HD-SDI / IP Solution vs Full D1 Analog

    Full digital is measured is pixels. Mega Pixel is something that you will be seeing a lot in reference to digital resolution. An example of what we are used to are the new Digital TV that we have. 1080P (1920 x 1080) is equal to a 2 Mega Pixel camera. The clarity is created by the amount of pixels in the image.   • 960H vs Standard D1 Recorders

    960H is the new recording standard for security cameras and DVRs. It delivers up to 40% more resolution than the previous standard D1. 960H has a resolution of 960 x 480 pixels, that eliminates stretching and provides more pixels for better video clarity. In other words the more pixels the more zoomability you have after the fact.

    960H is backwards compatible, if you have an existing analog camera you can simply add that into our 960H DVR. Our 960H DVRs will also upscale all your cameras, it will provide a 1080P HD output.
